A few years ago, I lived in Paris for a while and spent most of my time reading French classics. I wandered around the city and found many of the places mentioned in the books. The relationship of the places to each other and in which areas they were located gave me a new and more vivid experience of the books. Nowadays, I always look for a map when I read a book. Since it can be difficult to find good maps, I have instead started making my own maps. I have printed four of the maps and will soon print more. If you are interested in these literary maps, they are now available for purchase on Literarymaps.com.
